An illustrated talk will introduce the weird and wonderful world of pollination, concentrating on the extraordinary range of organisms that visit and pollinate flowers. Following this indoor session, we will walk through the nature reserve to look at the flowering plants available to visiting insects and observe pollination ‘in action’.
Illustrated talk and practical session with Clive Nuttman. Clive is an environmental biologist with research interests in pollination ecology. He has published work on animal-plant interactions spanning bees, flies, other insects and birds.
