If the weather is adverse, the event will be cancelled. A decision will be made at midday on the Friday, and it is highly recommended that members of the public phone the Reserve before it closes to find out if the session is on or not.
It is advised to bring warm clothing as only one person at a time can view through the telescope. Torches with some form of red filter are also recommended, as is suitable footwear.
Session start times will vary through the year depending when it gets dark. For the winter months it can be as early at 17.30 for the youngsters, with a later slot for adults.
Please contact the Reserve for times.
