Volunteering with the Thanet Countryside Trust (Common Blue - Polyommatus icarus )

Supported by Thanet District Council

Got a few hours to spare?

Already the hard work of volunteers has succeeded in creating a thriving and successful nature reserve at Monkton. We want to build on this in the future and need your help. We have opportunities for volunteering in a range of areas so there really is something for everyone. And putting something back into the area is both rewarding and fun. It's also a great opportunity to learn new skills.

We need:
Help in the book-shop
Tree and hedgerow maintenance
Alien plant removal
Grassland management
Felt roof repair
Volunteers to train as guides

There is always something to do so if you have a few spare hours contact us on the details below for information, or just drop in!

FREE TEA AND COFFEE FOR VOLUNTEERS!
