Volunteer Position – Plants
We are looking for a volunteer with ‘green fingers’ to tend our expanding plant sales section. The majority of plants we get are donated and, sometimes, unlabelled. The role will entail repotting, identifying, labelling, and pricing up the plants, and the plant sales area itself kept reasonably ordered. The role would be suitable for someone who perhaps had just a couple of hours to spare at a time.
Additionally, for a more actively physical involvement, we also have a volunteering opportunity for someone to tend to some plant borders, which we have adjacent to the Field Study Centre, and also some raised planters which we have in the Willett Educational Garden.
If you feel either, or even both, of these opportunities are of interest to you, you can find an online Volunteers Application Form here, or, if you prefer, you can pick up a hardcopy at the Reserve. Just complete and return the form and our Volunteer Coordinator will get in touch with you.
